What is Shockwave Therapy?

Radial shock wave therapy (RSWT) is a popular approach to treating superficial orthopedic issues that has been around for two decades.

A mechanical pressure wave is created and sent through the tissue via an applicator head. This wave is absorbed by the tissue the mechanical stress causes reactions in the tissue that commonly have a positive effect on many orthopedic and neurological symptoms.
